The Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join as a force multiplier for the ClickStream codebase. As we approach production, we need a "second set of eyes" to ensure architectural integrity, code quality, and feature completeness.

You will work directly with the Lead Engineer to audit the existing codebase, close out remaining feature gaps, and harden the system for a production release. This is not a "greenfield" role; it is a role for a closer who enjoys polishing, refactoring, and ensuring 100% reliability.

What You Will Do

• Code Review & Audit: Perform deep-dive reviews of the current ClickStream codebase — a multi-tenant analytics platform spanning event ingestion, identity resolution, real-time streaming, and a client dashboard. Identify logic gaps, race conditions, security vulnerabilities, and areas for optimization across workers, SDK, and dashboard.
• Feature Completion: Take ownership of partially implemented features and drive them to 100% completion. This includes hardening identity resolution pipelines, completing dashboard analytics views, and ensuring end-to-end data integrity from SDK collection through Analytics Engine queries.
• Quality Assurance: Write and refine unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Vitest. Expand coverage across the collector worker, SDK, and dashboard API routes. You will be the gatekeeper for quality before we go live.
• Production Readiness: Assist in setting up logging, monitoring, and alerting across Cloudflare Workers and Pages. Ensure the system is observable and maintainable in production, including proper error handling, rate limiting validation, and graceful degradation.

What We Are Looking For

Seniority: 5+ years of production engineering experience. You have shipped complex distributed systems and have the "battle scars" to prove it.

Required:

• TypeScript, Cloudflare Workers (Hono), Cloudflare Pages, D1 (SQLite), KV, R2, Analytics Engine, Durable Objects
• Next.js (App Router), React, NextAuth.js
• Vitest, Zod, WebSockets

Nice to Have:

• Ad-tech / identity resolution experience (UID2, ID5), Parquet/data lake exports, SDK development (UMD/ESM bundling)

The "Finisher" Mindset: You don't just write code; you deliver solutions. You are detail-oriented and won't mark a task "done" until it is tested and documented. You understand multi-tenant data isolation and the stakes of getting it wrong.

Communication: Ability to explain why a piece of code needs to change, not just what needs to change. Comfortable working async in a small team where every PR matters.
